I'm on a bit of a skincare hype. I'm still going!
Flint + Flint are a wonderful skincare brand that produce high end products, using ingredients that are found in medical dermatology products. However, compared to the actual medical products these are a lot more affordable, but are still just as amazing. *Insert sassy lady emoji*
So I was so happy when the lovely people over at Flint + Flint sent me a few goodies to have a play around with.

Flint + Flint Review*
I've been a bit rubbish this week, and I know it. Right now I'm suffering from bad bloggers block/life block and I thought a little old life update would be the best way to get a post out that wasn't half hearted.
To be honest the whole month of June has been a bit of a write off, for me. Don't get me wrong, I have had great days, the Festival was incredible but this whole month just seems to have been a bit meh. I know that there's nothing in particular thats gone spectacularly wrong but the little things add up don't they. Le sigh.

What's Gone on This Week: June 2016
If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know that I really wanted to start trying a new daily lipstick.
Because I dyed my hair blue, and it's now turned black with my brown roots coming through making me look like a complete idiot (I should wear this all the time) it means that I think bright lipsticks wash me out. Even more than dark hair does. What a plank. So I wanted a natural lipstick that I could wear to work and just in general.
But alas, I hate shopping. I hate shopping for clothes. I hate shopping for make up.

Sleek Eyeshadow and Lipstick Review
Yes, I caved.
I am not an organised person. I usually scribble notes inside my head and forget them/realise them five minutes before I'm supposed to go; think of great ideas for blog posts which then promptly slip my mind and I never ever manage to plan ahead.
I don't sound like a great supporter of a Bullet Journal do I? But alas, the lovely Hannah's posts completely convinced me that I needed this in my life. And I did.

My Bullet Journal Setup (With a Difference)
I had the absolute time of my life this weekend.
I was at the Isle of Wight Festival this weekend, and I'm currently reliving it through some painful post-Festival blues. I love Festivals. I'm not going to claim to be a crazy festival goer as I have only been to two, both of which are basically on my doorstep. Last year was the first time in about 8/9 years that I hadn't been to one, because I spent the summer in Greece. I love the friendly atmosphere, the lack of worries and the drinking games centred around a muddy patch of grass that becomes 'home' for the weekend. (side note at this point, the below pictures are not mine due to an awful phone at this point of the weekend, but I will be of course crediting the photographers correctly)

Don't Stop Me Now
I know, I am rubbish.
I started a Sunday series but I couldn't keep up with it ahah. So I'll just do it every other week or see how it goes.
I saw this one on someone else's blog (super sorry, cannot remember whose it was... should really note these things down) and thought I'd give it a go... so here *drum roll* is

50 Facts About Me
Come one, you don't live under a rock do you????
You must know that there is a referendum coming up on the 23rd June there is a referendum.
There are a couple of great posts around to help you decide which way to vote, but I'm going to talk about WHY you should vote! So many people I talk to have a couple of reasons about why they're NOT going to vote, but I'm gonna answer those as to why they're a load of boohocky.

Why It's SO Important To Vote

I had the idea for this post the other day, when I was sat talking with my Mum and her friend about social media. My Mums friend says she uses social media to promote her photography business. My Mum is a complete dweeb when it comes social media - she got Facebook last year so she could speak to me in Greece and her 'work gals', still doesn't have a profile picture and has about 7 friends.

I think a lot of the older generation (not meaning to offend anybody) tend to think that social media is pretty pointless, and is used for statuses all over Facebook like "Today I ate an apple for lunch" (actual words from my Mother). But there is so much more to it than that, and I think it's important that more people realise this.
The Real Uses of Social Media
I am finally starting to struggle with this now. Don't get me wrong, I have a great job at the moment, I enjoy it, the people there are lovely and it is semi related to my degree.
But I want to do something more with my degree.
I've written about my job hunt before, and how I keep on top of it. But I thought it would be important to write a post about how I don't get disheartened about it, even though I do. But you know.

It's that time of the month again, you know where we all go 'I can't believe it's been a whole month...'
But seriously, I can't believe it's been a whole month.
I keep seeing the date and thinking it's the beginning of May, I can't believe it's June? I swear April was yesterday?
Anyway, with June coming we should be getting some nice sunny weather, but then again, we do live in England so unlikely. It's also marking up to one year since I finished University next week, so I will be writing about that.
I really like setting myself little goals for the month, it deceives my brain into thinking I'm actually getting somewhere, when in fact I'm not. The smaller goals are so much more achievable and I won't get disheartened if I don't achieve them... because I WILL achieve them!
